Neranjan de Silva

Neranjan de Silva is currently a Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is a graduate of Columbia University with degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, as well as a U.S. Army veteran (Infantry Medic) and a NIH UGSP Scholar. Previously he has worked as a Sleep Specialist at Columbia University, Weill Cornell Medicine, Boston Children’s Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is currently finishing his thesis at Oxford University, where he will earn his Masters Degree in Clinical Neuroscience and Sleep Medicine. As a underrepresented minority himself, he hopes to continue his work to support both the Veteran and underrepresented minority communities. In the near future, he plans on applying to MD-PhD programs.
